Re: Welcome, brother!
Dare to reach for those stars!! Of course always keeping in mind that you'll never reach any of them. Not nearly enough caloric density in the weeds you've been grazing in to get your arm / paw much above your head. Give that some thought the next time you're smiling beneficially down on some cute ...

Re: Welcome, brother!
Ringo asked me today to take a look at his armory page, and I'm sad to report seeing the vile Hemet Nesingwary achievements. Ringo has fallen off the wagon. He actually went looking for you before he revealed himself in all of his gore-stained glory. As I was the only druid on, and reserve my love ...

And taken care of, thanks Guum, and Andriss who also offered but was just slower than the druid. Well, come on - who isn't slower than a druid these days? People break sheep in PvP all the time - you have to be speedy if you are going to have any fun at all... My pleasure, Voca - the box is on it's...

Re: My quest for the big box
A couple of us still have extra CE editions, if you're interested. They also have some WoW card game cards in them - I haven't opened the ones in mine yet, but I'm guessing that there'll be a little trinket of some type in that as wellMildane wrote:Oooh. I wants the the mousepad and the wyvern pet!

Re: My quest for the big box
Much like our esteemed Thane, I was at Target at 8:00 AM this morning. And not a soul to be seen. Walked up to the electronics counter and proudly said "WoW, CE please - I'll take two". The guy thinks for a minute and then says "What's the name of the band?" /facepalm. Launched into extensive but ye...

Re: Windows startup disk?
Do you know if it gets past the BIOS start to try to boot to the hard drive? Or does this show up immediately? If it happens before the hard drive is accessed, you've got a problem on the motherboard, and a boot disk won't help you. If you do get to the point where the computer is attempting to boot...

Re: WotLK Respecs?
They'll be fine. The pendulum swings back and forth a lot during beta, and it's a bad idea to get excited about any extreme it lands at, since that's not its final position. Any time you see something that makes you say, "I MUST have that," it's going to be changed. Conversely, stuff that makes you...

Re: Chrome
You bet. I write pretty clean copy as-is, but anything that's not right gets spotted pretty fast, and people ask good follow-up questions that I have often time to answer before the final version of the story goes in the paper. That second part is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I promise to split ...

Re: Chrome
I try that model by posting our stories on the Web site before it hits the newspaper. Some readers are happy to serve as copy editors -- especially when their input results in a noticeably better story in the paper -- but it really pisses some users off. Unfortunately, we can't afford any paid copy...
