Old Friend, looking for Dungeons at low level (72 WOTLK)

Post by Tzakapotek » 13 Dec 2009 08:02 am

Hi guys,

I have recently started playing again after a long absence and would love to do some dungeons in either BC or WOTLK. I am currently specc'ed as a Feral Druid, but would be open to learning the ropes as a Healer as well. Mostly I am looking for a few groups over the next few weeks or so to "learn the ropes", so if any of you are doing lower level things on alts, drop me a line here or at graffes, or via email and let me know where and when, so I can plan to be there.

Thanks,

Barcha / Lysandor

Hooray!

Phil is 80 now, but missed most of those dungeons and is still carrying around the (gray) Utgaarde Keep and Nexus quests, for instance.

Grats on ALT-80!

I have had a couple of good groups, and a couple of bad ones, but the new tool is great. The bizarre thing for me is how insular and goofy some of the off-server folks are about how well you know the dungeons. People are entitled to play however they wish, but it seems silly to me to insta-kick anyone who is "new" to a dungeon, for example. I have jammed with some fairly big name folk over the years, and have never turned down a jam session with a friend or a neighbor, even if they were just starting out or playing for fun. Consequently, the whole "must have experience here" (on non heroics) thing seems really odd to me.

There are a lot of dumbasses among the 12 million players.

I just knocked the dust off of Cog, specced him up Prot, and got him a set of crafted tanking gear plus the heirloom armor pieces. Halfway through 70, so I can tank for you if your up to healing.

Ipap the Drunkin Cog

Gerryth is available for dps. He is currently 72.

If you level too fast, Uncagunny is 80 but hasn't done many of the quests either.

Any night should be good (got on a little late tonight). Just got done ditching a crappy UK group with Cog (seriously, who the hell does knockback attack on a tightly bunched group around the tank? Ran the bastards back to AE my own group  )

I've got a warrior at 72 and a hunter at 75 and I'd be happy to join up.

Awesome. After 2 more dungeons for each faction, I have decided that I will only be playing pre-made (or mostly pre-made) groups when Alliance side. The groups I had today were simply awful.

The Tich server folk are the ones I watch out for. Gah!

Ok -- healed my first dungeon today. It was a rough start, still have a low mana pool for healing. As we progressed through, I hope I got a little better. Only Cog would know for sure, as he is the one with most of the experience in these matters.

I had fun. :)

Cog, et al:

We are still here, but I am on a brief hiatus while shopping for a new laptop. ;)

When you get the laptop situation straightened out, keep an eye out for my tankadin, Halvar, whom I'm leveling to 80 almost exclusively via the Random Dungeon tool.

Cog hit 80 recently, but Drunkin is still mid-70s. Always looking for a healer or tank to pair with to help shorten the wait for a random dungeon.
