Paladin Epic Mount

I've decided to join the club.
Since Pristine Black Diamonds got their prices slashed well below 1% of what they went a patch or two ago, this quest is now totally feasible.

I'm still working on gathering ingredients, such as the 5 Strat holy waters and the arcanite bars (I got the mats...could I enlist the aid of a guildy for the conversion?), so I'll be doing Strat and DM for the rest of the stuff.

All in all, I'm not worried about the pre-req's, but for the final fight...well, that's where I'd like to have some heavy duty firepower. Sawed Off power, to be specifical.

I'm curious to know if the SO paladins have completed this quest...or are interested in it, and we can work with each other so we could take on the deathknight.

I'm in no rush...I figure it will take 1-3 weeks to assemble all the stuff I need for it, and I'd be more than happy to team up with any other pallies who'd like a shot at this.

How about it, brothers? Interest you on a charger?

Adan and I have done the quest before, it was difficult, but very doable. You will want an extra paladin for the final part. I know Adan has a diamond and is being lazy about getting the components together, so if he gets off his butt and stops playing his druid, you may be able to do a two for one special.

Two diamonds dropped in Strat today, and I sent one to Dolly. On a side note I went to DM West today with a pickup group - we didn't even make it to the second kill before the group self destructed.

I'm there when you are ready to go. I'm really rather excited about visiting this place.

Materials Needed:

40 Runecloth
6 Arcanite Bars
10 Arthas' Tears
5 Stratholme Holy Water vials
20 Enriched Manna Biscuits
1 Azerothian Diamon
1 Pristine Black Diamond
350 Gold

Currently I am doing Collection of Goods and from the materials needed list I only need my arcanite converted, the 5strat holy waters and the 20 manna biscuits.

So this week shall be Strat runs. Once I get the holy waters, then next week will be DM.

Of course, other paladins in need of the quests are more than welcome. Chargers are nice once you get to know them.

Last night Guumbah and I joined 3 Nothing wins the Justice guys -and warlockette- for some insane DM runs.

Man, it was fun. Sneaking in and out, boss killing every 10 minutes or so, great loot and we only hit our heads hard against the hardest boss (no idea who he was...gorok? gokko? gukko?).

As soon as I get my 5 strat waters and 5 remaining arcanite bars, I'll post the necessary invitations.

I got everything set for DM tomorrow, to beat a treant and get blessed by a ghost spirit.

All right, thanks to Adan, Clouseau, Culhruch, Ringo and Xaus I got the arcanite barding blessed. Now, a quick run to Stormwind and I'll have the necessary stuff for the Divination Scryer and the final fight in Scholomance.

I think next tuesday, around 7:00 pm would be a good time. Post, whisper or tell if you're interested.

Look me up if you need a healer! I've done this once before for two paladins at once. It's not pretty, but we got it done on the first try. (Somehow I was the only casuality.)

The secret is to have at least two paladins. I may consider 3 paladins (one healing) and a rogue and other DPS, although it may be too hard to reach the end. But definitely need 2 paladins.

So, Beli, Adan (Do you have the quest? How far along are you?) and I are signed up? Goodie!

I've heard that two paladins and a priest are the perfect mix for the fight. The priest can shackle the named boss on the third wave while we alternate judgements for the 6-9 spirits.

I've purchased 3 greater shadow protection potions that should help out between waves 3 and the dreadknight. And if we time it right and stay on the NE corner of the room, we can even get out of combat between waves and eat/mana up. That's why I've been saving my Candy bars for!

If we have alchemists that can make the greater shadow protetion potions, just list me the mats so I can check on Darlune's Herb Cabinet.

So, 2 more spots open. Who else says "Aye!"?

Great. So, barring any unforeseen incidents like server not passing "authenticating" or "Handshaking":

1. Beli -Priest.
2. Adan- Paladin
3. Kyroson-Paladin
4. Clouseau-Rogue
5. Xaus-Hunter.

If this is correct, I'll see you all tuesday night, 7:00 in game time.

As for 5 man Scholo and Strat, I got a slew of quests, so anytime someone has a hankering, give me a call.
