List of WotLK "Achievements" in beta

Post by Beli Flinthammer » 29 Jul 2008 09:43 am

Since we were talking about it in guild chat last night, this is what the achievements are like in beta right now:

http://www.mmo-champion.com/index.php?tab=0&page=777

I can't find the one that lists the 15 keys needed so I will find it and bump this thread later.

This one: The Keymaster.
  • Auchenai Key
  • Crescent Key
  • Key of Time
  • Key to the City
  • Shadow Labyrinth Key
  • Shadowforge Key
  • Shattered Halls Key
  • The Scarlet Key
  • Skeleton Key
  • Workshop Key
Also on the subject of Achievements, there were some more fun ones added today. Like To All the Squirrels I've Loved Before and Well Read. They've also added some title rewards, like "Elder" for honoring all the elders during the Lunar Festival and "Flame Warden" for honoring all your side's flames and desecrating all the other side's flames during the Midsummer Fire Festival.

Good stuff! I think that this may very well be the feature I'm most excited about for the expansion :D

I want a title for killing 50 Horde in Alliance cities, with one per city.

"Ringo, Defender of Ironforge" sounds BADASS. :D

Shadow Labyrinth Key
Shadowforge Key

Doh!
I'm not cute, I'm just drawn that way.

The Summer Festival and Lunar Festival just got a whole lot more interesting now. If people didn't care about the opposing faction running in to get their coins or flames, they do now. They're going to want to find 50 suckers per city.

Agree on title. I'd wear anything dwarvish. IT IS ALL I EVER WANTED!!

Thanks for saving me the trouble with the keys, Widge! I was missing the workshop key, much to my confusion and I realized, holy cow, this was waaaaaay before we got our keyring. These keys were taking up serious space in the bank (back when we were minus 4 extra bank and 1 bag slot). I ended up destroying the workshop key since I thought we were done with gnomeregan for good. Had to go back and get it. Those crazy lepers have an insane aggro radius, even to a level 70, sheesh.

Veteran Nanny
Acquire Egbert's Egg, Sleepy Willy, and Elekk Training Collar on one character.
Wow. That would take 3 years to complete.

"Sanlear, Defender of Storwind" does have a ring to it.

I'd say "Sanlear, Defender of Darnassus" but what Horde member is going to want to waste their time attacking it? :)

Aye, one more year if you've done the quest each time it was available!

The new pet tab inspired me to buy my first mini pet the other day. Now I can pretend I'm a pirate with my Parrot flapping around.

I agree that "Defender of Storwind" does have a ring to it. Perhaps in combination with that title you can also achieve the title of "Grand Master Misspellur"

;)

Is "Lover of Sheep" a viable achievement?

No, but it IS a treatable condition according to the shrinks
and an exploitable talent according to certain segments of
the "alternative" movie industry in the San Fernando Valley.
People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
