They play the game as a career (unless I'm totally incorrect).

They do, and that makes their gripe that they're out of content extra-inane. This simply isn't going to be a problem for most people, since the next raid should be patched by late January.

I love how 90% of the posts in that thread basically boil down to "good job Blizzard, way to dumb down the game" because of this. I wonder if Verant/SoE ever imagined that their method of limiting progression by making encounters impossible immediately after release would one day be looked back on fondly by players of another game.

Of course, most of those complaining won't be done with the 3.0 content in six months, let alone by 3.1.
