I think my first act as the newly crowned King of the Ogres will be to require my subjects to bathe.

A hearty thanks to Lanorith and Ahnulus (Saehdrin) for helping me reach the throne. :)

It's so awesome they have coffee urns there to help you sober up. I'm surprised they've never added that as a recipe to the game, either under cooking or alchemy.

Considering that yesterday was St. Patrick's day, some coffee probably would have come in handy. :)

Hang on - I've already been King of the Ogres from Dire Maul - how many damn kings do they have?

King of the ogres of the Blade's Edge Mountains, baby! (And it has permanent effects for your character, which is awesome.)

You mean permanent effects other than being covered in ogre slobber when you finally do kick their current King's ample rear inside out?

Only if you consider being non-KOS to all ogres in BEM a permanent effect.

Why, a lesser king of the ogres might abuse this to walk up and empty out their chests and mine their ore nodes without interruption ...

You become king/queen of the ogres by completing the quest series that unlocks the Ogrila daily quests. It requires some group fights, but it's pretty easy. If you know a time you'll be available, set it up and we can knock it out for you.

I'd be happy to help you with these quests too, Goombah.
