Up in the sky!! It's a bird....it's a plane....
I'm about 1/5 of the way, working on the money then I can start the quest line.

Well, I'm not in a huge rush - I already have an epic mount, so I do get the "go fast thing", but the pooping is problematic at this point. You two get your tail feathers in gear and we'll do the whole enchilada together. Let me know if you need help on the intermediate quests - I did them all within about a week of the release of the quest line.

Sounds great, thank you!goomba_boy wrote:Well, I'm not in a huge rush - I already have an epic mount, so I do get the "go fast thing", but the pooping is problematic at this point. Shouldn't be too much longer before I start the quest line. I'm less than 200 gold away from having 5000, and then I'll be able to buy 300 riding, and start the epic questline.
From the summary of it I've read, it looks like most of it is soloable until the final part, the heroic run through Sethekk. Was there any part of the questline that gave you any headaches, Guumbah?

It really is soloable. There is a part close to the end where they send you off to kill a few Sethekk-type avatars that it doesn't hurt to have a friend along for - I had to ask for help on one of them. Other than that, the rest is pretty easy. If you get to that point and I'm around, give me a shout.

Looking forward to helping out.

Same here. Been goofing off on Mordrum for too long, I'd like to get some real adventuring in
Re: Up in the sky!! It's a bird....it's a plane....
Thank you guys! I'm now up to 4915 gold, so I'll be hitting that 5000 goal and getting the questline started very soon. Once I'm up to Sethekk, we'll coordinate a date and time for everyone interested in joining. Should be a fun time.
Ukator, how are you coming along?

Heh, 2700 or so and counting. I'm slow! My goal is just to get it done by the expansion time:)

Get your furry butt to Quel'Danas! That's a 1,000+ gold/week set of dailies there, even if you just do the island and Razorthorn Ridge.

Heh, I don't blame you. You're much better geared than I am.ukator wrote:Heh, 2700 or so and counting. I'm slow! My goal is just to get it done by the expansion time:)
This is just something I've wanted to do for a long time. I've never gotten epic flying on a character before.

I'm happy to report I was able to solo it all up to the Sethekk Hallls run. It was alot of fun. The last bird boss, the one that requires you to use nukes, was a close one, though.

Looks like you are ready for the Sethekk halls run. Name the time and I'll bring my furry little butt along...

Excellent! I already posted a quick thread about it to gauge people's schedules and we'll plan for hitting it soon.
